Belongs to the SADI (Argentine Interconnection System, its acronym in Spanish) through the connection of its line of 500 kV west Almafuerte-Rosario, 20 km from the city of Villa María, province of Córdoba. It is a key element for the electric infrastructure of the province since it adds 300 megawatts to supply from SADI to all the central and eastern areas of Córdoba. Thus it became the third connection nucleus apart from the one of Malvinas Argentinas and Almafuerte. It distributes energy more homogeneously mainly in the revitalized area of the "pampa húmeda" (wet pampas) in Córdoba. |
