The construction of Termozulia III, this thermoelectric plant of combined cycle, with a capacity of 500 MW, located in Zulia, township of La Cañada de Urdaneta, 20 kilometers south of Maracaibo city.

It is the third one in a complex of three generating power plants: Termozulia I, in a start up phase; Termozulia II, under construction and finally Termozulia III. It is being constructed by Eling Energía S.A. in partnership with Inelectra S.A.

It is the third generating power plant in a complex of five located in an area of intense oil exploitation activities.
